Loopring is a blockchain protocol for Etherium Layer-2, built using zk-rollup. In other words, the company has come up with a system to reduce the commission, accelerate Etherium transactions. Advantages of the protocol: security, low fees for transfers, speed, commission for transfers inside Loopring (Ethereum Layer-2) is less than $1, almost instant transactions.

Grímsvötn L2 (alpha-3) and Eldfell L3 (alpha-4) have been fun, but it's time to say goodbye.

We'll no longer support Eldfell L3 (alpha-4) testnet past September 19th. Galxe tasks related to Eldfell L3 will also be ending on September 19th.

If you want to complete the tasks or do something else on Eldfell L3, then please do so before then.

For Grímsvötn L2 (alpha-3), we'll keep it alive through the end of October in order to support any projects migrating over.

However, we won't be officially supporting the network in terms of our documentation and frontend dapps like our bridge.

If you're an ecosystem project deployed on Grímsvötn L2 or Eldfell L3, there will be a new alpha-5 testnet coming.

More details will follow shortly. We'll be reaching out to help migrate, but it should be as simple as swapping out the RPC.
